Welcome to the
Olive Tree Cafe
During the lockdown period the cafe will be providing a take away service, please check our facebook page for details.
The cafe is open as a sit down indoor business again, open Tuesday to Sunday 10.00 – 15.30 (Kitchen closes 14:30) but you need to book a table using the reservations form on this page or this link.
The team have been working very hard to progressively bring the Olive Tree back to life. As well as providing coffees and a takeaway service over recent weeks we have been planning and preparing to open again in the new post-Covid world.
We are delighted to be able to announce that the Olive Tree Cafe is back as a sit down indoor business as of 10-00 am Thursday 10th September.
To ensure that we provide a Covid safe environment for our customers and staff several changes have been made. We will now ask our customers to use our new online booking service to reserve a table or, if you do not have access to the internet or you have special requirements, you may ring the cafe to place your booking by phone on 01793 533152 during our open hours. Please do not leave a message as a method of booking a table. If you cannot pre book but drop by the cafe for a coffee and cake we will only be able to accommodate you if we have available tables. Booking may prevent disappointment.
This is a very exciting development and we look forward to seeing the return of familiar faces over the weeks to come.
Opening Hours Tuesday – Sunday 10.00 – 15:30
We serve breakfasts, snacks and light lunches in a warm, inviting atmosphere surrounded by contemporary art. For the summer months we also have a comfortable outdoor patio area.
We make fresh food to order, and bake our own cakes, scones and biscuits in the kitchen. We use fresh produce, including when available from our very own kitchen gardens.
The Olive Tree Cafe is part of The Recovery Tree Charity
